9/11 attacks?? conspiracy theories???

maybe the US government knew that these attacks were coming, but did not react because through letting it happen it would be - due to the outrages and fears of the US population- easier to make US citizens give up some of their privacy rights and also give a good excuse to attack Iraq 18 months later. (the latter has been already seen since the media moved more and more towards Iraq as a culrpit and 'ally of AlQueda' which is of course a lie, because Saddam and Al Quaida were enemies).
