Should anti-freeze be changed - low miles ?
We have a seldom-driven 2006 Mustang GT........just 3000 miles on it . It has factory Ford Gold anti-freeze that the maintenance guide says should be changed at 5 years.........considering the mileage, do you think that's necessary???? (we now change the oil once-a-year.......to keep the warranty in effect the first 3 years we sometimes had to change it with less that 200 miles on it - what a waste!) Any other low-usage maintenance tips?......we keep a battery tender on it and although we don't drive it much, when we do we make sure it's long enough to get it completely hot......anything else we should do? THANX !!
