Can i register for psat by myself ?

my school takes care of that for the juniors usually, but i wanna take my psat soon, and then take my SAT in november, when my school usually does the PSAT in october, which wouldn't allow time to get my scores back. is there anyway i can do my PSAT in like, august ?
