My guinea pig ate a plastic bag?

Guinea pigs do not normally drag their bum on the cage. if your is doing so i am going to guess that it is because it has some stuck in its bum that is is trying to get out. I do feel that a vet visit is very necessary in this case. If he has a wad of plastic blocking his and can't p it it could be very serious and lead to his death.
