Pilot AC eyesight?

I was in the same boat. What I was told is that you need to get your PRK surgery at least 6 months prior with a waiver before you leave for field training. You will be paying for it out of your own pocket. What you will do is have your ROTC schedule you an appointment with DoDMERB to have your eyes checked to make sure you can see and that your not color blind/deficient. Then you will make another appointment with your local eye doctor to make sure you can even get PRK eye surgery. If you clear both of those as well as getting the surgery 1 year before or 6 months with a waiver your in the clear.
