Saltwater: New Bubble Tip Anemone Issue (10 points to best!)?

You just got him so my guess would be he is getting acclimated to the tank's conditions. They are very particular when it comes to water parameters You let him float etc. before you released him into the tank but it takes a few days for them to get used to the new system. Also they do that open and close thingy when they are getting rid of waste. Give him a few more days, watch him carefully, oh and you said he has a shrimp. keep an eye on that critter too, he may be pestering the anemone into closing up. You really need a tank that's been up for a year or so before adding anemone but he may be just fine. Try the site below for info and good luck I've never had one go longer than 6mo!
