The 2012 conspiracy! This is my theory!?

it was the mayan calender i think that ended on 23rd December 2012. Scientists have looked at this, and their theory is no, the world is not going to end on that date. Because the mayan calender ended on that date, it does not mean the world will end, I think its just by some random coincidence that their calender ended on that date.
